KSR podcast has been spotlighting counties of the Bluegrass as of late. This week Green County was on the docket and yours truly was mentioned as the third most famous person from the home of the oldest courthouse West of the Alleghenies. First was my pal and war hero Dakota Meyer followed my historical medical personality Jane Todd Crawford. Then there’s the huge falloff to me. Anyway, was a good laugh. You can listen to the episode at the link below and the Green County portion starts around the nine minute mark.

Today Better Noise Music Group released the music video for ‘Song of Women’ from the Mongolian rock sensation The HU. Today the world has lost one of the greatest country singers of all time. Joe Diffie has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Joe over the past few years, working with him on the Girl Ridin’ Shotgun video, and keeping in touch regularly. Even before then, he was one of my favorite performers growing up listening to country music on K-Country 103.1. He will be missed.
Proud to announce that three campaign ads I directed for Grit Creative were Reed Award winners last night in Atlanta. The video was directed by Zack Morris (not that one) with myself in the producer chair. Great artists, great crew, and a great video forthcoming!
