Politics in Louisville

Yesterday we were outside of Louisville with Grit shooting spots for Michael G. Adams in his bid for Secretary of State. This was our last collaboration with Grit before the primaries May 21st.

Farming with Ryan Quarles

Once again we were out on the farm with Ryan Quarles, Kentucky’s Agriculture Commissioner for Grit Creative. Despite his serious injury early in the week, Mr. Quarles powered through and we have some great stuff for his campaign. Always an honor working with him and his staff.

TheBoot.com Premieres Townsend Video

TheBoot.com has premiered our new video from Tommy Townsend. The video is the first from his Shooter Jennings’ produced album “Turn Back The Clock.” Not only did we shoot the videos, but I shot the album photography as well. Check out the article here and you can see the video below.

Nashville rockers Goodbye June were at Soundstage Studios recording their new record for . We spent the day with the group discussing their past, process with this record, and their future. They will be released as a short web series via their socials in the coming months.

Waylon Payne Video Shot at Dee’s

Waylon Payne has new album coming in the near future. Waylon is the son of Grammy-winning singer Sammi Smith and longtime Willie Nelson guitar player Jody Payne. He was also Jerry Lee Lewis in the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk The Line.” The video was for the song “Sins of the Father” from Payne’s forthcoming LP. Thanks to all those who came out and partook in the video along with Presley Tucker and Tyler Coe for making cameos. Fun day.

Phillip Wheeler in Pike County

Phillip Wheeler is running for Kentucky State Senate and we were in Pike County with Grit Creative shooting his ads yesterday. Despite the rainy weather, we walked away with some really solid pieces to help him with the special election in the 31st District.
