We’ve had a great campaign season this year with Grit Creative. We finished up today shooting with Kentucky Treasurer Allison Ball in her bid for reelection. Thanks to all the amazing candidates and people we’ve been able to meet and work with. And if you feel the need to go vote, go!
A long weekend was wrapped up in Hopkinsville today with 1st Supreme Court Judge candidate Whitney Westerfield. The current Kentucky State Senator is running for the seat in the forthcoming special election November 6. The shoot was produced for Grit Creative.
Today we were in Louisville, Kentucky shooting a commercial for the gender-neutral clothing company BLōFISH . The company gives 10% of their sales off the top to local charities and organization with over thirty thousand dollars in donations last year. The campaign was a collaboration of BLōFISH and Danville-based agency The Idea Farm. This project was a joy to be a part of.

Frankfort, Kentucky was home for our shoot yesterday at the state capitol. New ads are forthcoming for Republican Attorney General candidate Daniel Cameron via Grit Creative. It was a great honor to shoot inside a structure so rich in our state’s history.
Grit Creative had us in full force this weekend in Graves County, Kentucky at the annual Fancy Farm Picnic. If you’re unfamiliar with the event, check out this brief history of the state’s political octagon. Here’s a few behind-the-scenes pics from the day.
Nestled in Summersville, Kentucky, the premiere music space, Green River Live, made its grand opening tonight. The 1,000 seat venue showcased their house band, Heart of the Bluegrass Band which features Terry Wariner, Eddy Dunlap and a group of talented musicians from Nashville and the Bluegrass. We had the honor to shoot still and video for the event for archival and social media purposes. GRL’s first major label act will feature David Lee Murphy on August 30, 2019. A couple years back I had the honor of spending time with the greatest player in the history of Kentucky High School Basketball working on a project for The Sports History Foundation. ‘King’ Kelly Coleman was Kentucky high school’s all-time leading scorer and a living legend in Eastern Kentucky not for just his play on the court but his antics off of it.
